Witty, funny, and interesting with a twist! The chapter titles are especially creative and the content brings life to thoughts that are rarely spoken and challenges the reader to embrace the positive. --Gloria
Amusing, thought-provoking and, depending on your point of view, somewhat inspirational. It is interesting to see someone put into writing the funny side of relationships, but true thoughts we may sometimes be afraid to express for fear of hurting our dates' egos or perhaps exposing ourselves. By the way, don't let the chapter titles fool you. --Jackie
This book touches on topics that have never before been fully approached or discussed between most men and women. Though some of the topics may seem offensive to men, they are not. --John
A charming, thought-provoking book. There is something in this book that speaks to all of us--a wake-up call for some; an affirmation of what is known and felt for others. This book reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously, celebrates those things that make us all the same and validates our right to be ourselves. --Judy
Funny! Tantalizing snippets and anecdotes that delve into the minds of today's woman. It will educate, inspire and leave some thinking "Hmmmm". --Ted
I am most definitely NOT a reader, it’s NOT my favorite pastime, and I probably have read few books (I’m ashamed) since my high school/college days, but found that I couldn’t put this book down. How uncanny! Being a single-parent for 14-years, a self-sufficient, head-strung “MS” from the word “go”; I can readily relate to all of Jettie’s scenarios and find them most amusing as I think back to those fun-filled years that were neatly tucked in the back of my mind. In Chapter 16, Drink Some Prune Juice and Let the Crap Go (chuckle), after you read the chapter, you will KNOW why the title is so appropriate. Thanks, Jettie, for bringing this realization to light! In summary, I felt that Jettie portrayed the characteristics of day-to-day life that we all have encountered, but in a humorous fashion. I found Jettie’s book “great” reading and couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter. I love it and especially, the Conclusion! Still “GLIDING” (Chapter 18) after all these years! --Faye
Absolutely loved it!! Serious yet funny! Definitely worth the read.

The book was wonderful and very informative (haha). It was so descriptive of everyday life with everyday people and problems and hilarious getting the point across. I could relate to nearly everything in it. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Inside you'll find a great deal to Think about, along with a Grin and a Laugh. –-Walt
Congratulations on your book! - In Search of My Discovery Channel was a delightful read from its catchy title to the Conclusion Page. It was well-written, funny in places, and very insightful in others. Now that I have read your book I should be ready to go out and score, but, alas, I think I am too old to play the game. May I suggest the title for your second book – What to do when your pilot light goes out. Thanks! --Charles
